The Automatic Tektronix Closed-Cup Flash Point Tester is an advanced laboratory instrument designed and manufactured according to ASTM D56 standards, specifically for determining the flash point of petroleum products and other liquids.
Flash point is one of the important indicators for assessing the flammability of a substance. In transportation and safety regulations, it is used to define flammable and combustible substances, and it can also reflect whether there are highly volatile or flammable impurities in the substance.
This instrument is suitable for determining the flash point of liquids with a viscosity of less than 5.5 mm²/s (cSt) at 40°C (104°C) or less than 9.5 mm²/s (cSt) at 25°C (77°C) using a Tiger closed-cup tester, and a flash point below 93°C (200°F).
1. This machine features a large 10-inch color touchscreen with large fonts for easy viewing and large buttons for easy operation. It also has a graphical user interface for easier understanding. 2. The integrated body eliminates the need for an external cooling source.
2. Because this instrument has a built-in compressor cooling device, the liquid bath temperature can be set to -40 ℃ , making it a true low-temperature flash point instrument. The bath can be heated or cooled, and the coolant temperature is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer PID controller. In addition, the temperature field is controlled by a water pump, resulting in uniform temperature, which helps to improve the accuracy of the constant temperature bath .
3. A highly automated expert software system can automatically select a heating rate of 1℃/min or 3℃/min based on the customer's test temperature. It can automatically start or stop the compressor according to the ambient temperature without manual intervention.
4. After the experiment, the compressor will automatically turn on to quickly cool the bath temperature, so that the next test can start quickly.
5. It has strong repairability. Both the sample temperature sensor and the flame detection sensor are easy to disassemble and are equipped with aviation plugs, which can quickly perform third-party verification of the sensors.
6. Equipped with a mini thermal printer for automatic printing;
7. It has a built-in atmospheric pressure sensor that can detect atmospheric pressure in real time and automatically correct the test results for atmospheric pressure.
8. It has self-checking and self-diagnostic functions. The software will automatically pop up an alarm window according to the error type to avoid customer misoperation.
9. It includes a temperature curve, allowing customers to observe the temperature rise more intuitively.
It offers 10 optional ignition methods: gas or electronic. This broadens its application scenarios.
The temperature sensor uses a three-wire PT100 platinum resistance thermometer, and the precious metal provides higher precision and stability.
The 12 flash point sensor uses a dedicated K-type sensor. The electrode materials are nickel-chromium alloy (positive electrode) and nickel-silicon alloy (negative electrode). It can withstand high temperatures of 1400℃ and features high sensitivity and good stability.
