Features and precautions of density tester

1. Overview and Features

The density tester produced by our company is applicable to the GB/T1884-92 standard, which stipulates the method for measuring the density of petroleum and liquid petroleum products in the laboratory with a petroleum density meter. This standard is applicable to the determination of crude oil, petroleum products and mixtures of petroleum products and non-petroleum products whose Reid vapor pressure does not exceed 180kpa. The density meter method is suitable for determining the density of transparent, low-viscosity liquids, and is also suitable for viscous liquids, but the oil density meter should be allowed to stay long enough to reach an equilibrium state. The sample is brought to the appropriate temperature and transferred to a density measuring cylinder approximately at the same temperature as the sample. Put a suitable petroleum density meter vertically into the sample and let it stabilize. After the temperature reaches equilibrium, read the reading on the scale of the petroleum density meter and record the temperature of the sample. If necessary, the density measuring cylinder containing the sample can be placed in a suitable constant temperature bath to avoid excessive temperature changes during the experiment. The man-machine interface uses liquid crystal Chinese display, and the menu clicks to input commands. The constant temperature has high precision and is stable and reliable.

2. Matters needing attention

The glass cylinder must be filled with water before it can be powered on.

The board is a liquid crystal display, and it cannot be bumped with hard objects, otherwise it will cause damage to the display.

Put it on a flat and stable machine, and try to avoid direct sunlight on the instrument.

The power supply must be well grounded.
